The Purpleheart Seat 

  • Hand constructed with exotic Purpleheart wood from southern Brazil paired with hard maple.

  • Hand cut dovetails throughout the piece 

  • No screws, nails, or other fasteners used,

  • "Exposed" dovetail joinery on the top corners of the piece.

  • Finished with Osmo PolyX hardwax oil and hand-buffed to a satin sheen.

* This seat won the Judges Special Award for joinery precision at the 2023 Texas Furniture Makers show in Kerrville, Texas.
